3.47: While It Lasts

I can’t believe how much this summer is flying by. The weeks since Stefan and I got back from Willow Creek have been almost a blur…

And as much as it sucked being out of the World Cup, I’ve gotta admit, I’ve really loved having so much time at home before the season starts back up again. Sometimes I forget just how much I miss all of this…

I’m really excited to get back to work again. But I’m gonna miss all that free time too. Somehow, no matter how many years go by, it’s always hard to get used to the change. And now there’s just a couple more weeks until my schedule is totally crazy again.

Guess I should enjoy it while it lasts.

Luckily Josh is coming to visit before then. The last time he visited – before me and Stefan went to Willow Creek – I barely saw him. It’ll be nice to actually get to hang out with him this time. One last hurrah before summer’s over, I guess.

So all in all, things are going pretty well right now. The only thing that’s not is, well… my Bruder. Of course.

I seriously don’t know what’s gotten into him. I’m kinda starting to worry.

He was so happy when we were in Willow Creek. I thought things were finally going back to normal. But when we got home, he was even worse than before, if you can believe it. He’s so moody all the time. He keeps to himself a lot. He gets so angry whenever I ask him if he’s okay. I don’t know what to do.

I’ve tried talking to Lettie, Mama, Papa, even Josh. They all agree he’s not himself. We all see it. But none of us know what to do about it.

And if any of us tries to talk to him… forget it. He gets so defensive. It’s almost like he’s hiding something…

But what?

    Oh, and this? “Going out with my friends.” Jes2G says, “He has friends??” lol (re: convo about legacies, he he he)

    1. Yup! My poor babies never know how to deal with anything XD Hehehehe

      And yes, he has friends! That’s actually one of the kids who went to soccer camp with him, aged up 😛 We just never see these friends because they are not relevant to the story XD (you’ll be so proud though — My Gen 4 characters actually have friends that we will see in the story from time to time 😀 I am getting the hand of this… Ish :P)

  3. Poor Stefan. As much as it would hurt his family, he really has to go. He’s not happy in Windenburg. It’s good that Tobi’s happy though.

      1. I know. But it’s not cool for him to hide it. Didn’t he learn from the whole Josh debacle, where the twins didn’t tell Mari Josh was coming until two days before he arrived?

  7. I hope Stefan finds a way to deal with all of his struggles and just be honest towards his family… This is taking a toll on all of them.

    Also, totally love Tobi and Colette still ❤

  8. Can’t wait to hear more about Tobi and Colette. They are super cute together. ❤ I bet when Josh gets there are hell will break loose – again! :p Maybe Mari can keep it together. Hopefully gramps will be there to help smooth things over and support Stefan when he says he's going back with Josh…Oh the drama!

  9. I loved this chapter (like i love all of your chapters lol). I wish i had something more original to say, but i agree with all of the above comments. Stefan needs to seek out his own happiness, even if it is in Newcrest/Willow Creek. And also, i adore that restaurant picture of Tobu and Colette 😉 oh and the naughty picture of them too!

  10. So much drama… (but I love it :D). Yeah I agree with kaffepigen, I wanted to say something original but all of it was said above!

    2. Haha thank you! 🙂 I have a fairly consistent update schedule — Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday (though occasionally I will change this up! Even daily updates sometimes! But for now, I’m sticking to this 4x a week schedule ^_^)

  13. I never realized until now how little Tobi and Stephan share their personal struggles with each other. Hopefully Stephan can find himself by moving away. He’s so consumed by the thought of being in Tobi’s shadow he’ll end up ruining his relationship with everyone. Being on his own is the only way he’ll grow.

    1. Yes I feel the same way! I wouldn’t want Stefan to feel anymore jealous of his brother! He needs to start focusing on his own life rather than comparing himself with Tobi… that will do him no good!

      And I know everyone’s going to be shocked and really sad if Stefan ever decided to settle in Willow Creek; but they should just let him go do his thing!
