I don’t think I can decide who I’m more annoyed with right now – Stefan or the kids.

It’s a tough call.

I guess I should cut the kiddos a little more slack. I mean, they’re only six. But they really should know better than to go barging into our room like that.

We’ve been getting even more strict about it lately, ever since Lucas walked in on Lettie and I when we were, well… in kind of a, um… compromising position…

Thank God he’s still too young to really know what he was seeing. But still.

So now we are ALL about knocking on doors and staying out of bedrooms without permission. And they’ve been doing a pretty good job of it, until today…

I just can’t believe they had to go and make it worse by finding that stupid old baseball card.

And now Stefan’s blowing this whole thing out of proportion. As always.

He’s making all these dumb accusations – that I “hid” the card from him, and should have shown him years ago. He’s acting like this is some horrific betrayal or something.

Yeah, whatever.

This is exactly why I never showed it to him in the first place.

I mean sure, I can see a little resemblance there. I think I spent longer than I’d like to admit studying this guy’s face back when I first found the card. I was kinda… drawn to it, y’know? I’m not quite sure what made me keep it. I always told myself it was because it was Nora’s Bruder, but…

I dunno. It was all just some stupid fantasy, I guess. I almost fell for it… And now Stefan definitely has – hook, line, and sinker.

But I know now that it was all just wishful thinking – like that stupid game me and Stefan used to play when we were kids. I still remember how I used to dream that my Papa was a pirate, or a superhero… So damn stupid. And I’m not about to add “celebrity athlete” to the list.

I gave up on finding my biological Vater a long time ago. I mean, we don’t even know where to start anyway. And we already have a Papa. Jonas has done so much for us. He’s always loved us like we’re his own kids. Hell, as far as I’m concerned, we are his kids.

But I guess it’ll never be enough for Stefan. And now he just won’t shut up about this Yuen guy. Ridiculous. It’s not like this is the only blonde white guy in the world with a smile that vaguely looks like Stefan’s.

He’s just seeing what he wants to see.

Stefan needs to learn to just let it go. Leave it alone, y’know? But this is my Bruder, so I know he won’t. Not until he ends up disappointed… Again.

And I’m not looking forward to dealing with what’ll happen when he does.

    Interesting chapter. I understand Tobi, but I kinda feel like hiding the baseballcard from Stefan shows that it means more to him than he likes to admit. Curious to see where this will go, especially now that I’m caught up with the Thoreaus and I know Josh as well 🙂

    I’m a bit sad that Tobi thinks the way he does about Stefan’s “obsession” with this baseball card. I wish he could see the same thing he does. I fear that due to Tobi’s (kind of) denial, this will end up in nothing… And I really want to see them finding their father. I have my suspicion that it will happen a little like in dust2dust between Lucas and Evelyn near the end… if you get where i’m going (I’m not gonna spoil D2D to any new readers of the story!). So Citizen, if you’re unsure what i mean, message me 😉

      2. Do you mean how did I get the shot? I used the pose player to have Tobi do the “bathroom dance” because it makes him cover his crotch haha. Then I used an old pregnancy pose for Colette where it makes her cross her arms to cover her chest. 🙂

      3. I think the word “denial” is a perfect choice for Tobi’s feelings right now! We will get a little more insight into these feelings in future chapters 🙂

  3. Look at the Muse go! After seeing Colette and Tobi naked, I was like, “WHOA!!! WHAT.THE.HECK?!” and my face was flushed afterward. :O 😳 Lucas knows better than to walk into someone’s privacy.

    Intriguing chapter. I understand Tobi’s feelings. Pssst, Tobi. Hide the baseball card from Stefan. My seatbelt is fastened because I’m in for a ride to see how this will go.

    On a side note: I learned from the character profiles that Tobi’s a bro. You know, the bro trait is one of my favorite traits and one of my fellow Simmers called me a bro expert. In one of the neighborhoods in Oasis Springs in my personal save, all the residents have the bro trait and I called that neighborhood, Bro Land.

  4. The Tobi tush picture was adorable. Are those all from pose players? I can’t wait to find out how this goes down and where Josh is in his life. Has he found that special someone and made a family with them. I hope so. And how will he react to having his past indiscretions catching up with him. He wanted a family so I bet he will want to get to know the boys – uh no – the men. They are no longer boys or at least Tobi isn’t. Not sure where I rank Stefan in all of this. He seriously needs someone to love and grow up already and get on with his life. It’s like he just can’t move forward until his daddy issues are sorted out. 🙂

I got Lucas to look “horrified”, Tobi was doing the low-bladder little “gotta pee” dance, and Colette was doing a pose I had downloaded for pregnant sims (almost like a little photoshoot haha) that happened to have that one where she covers her chest. 🙂

      3. Stefan is definitely complicated haha. Honestly up until this point, he’d more or less moved on with his life… But seeing the card and being reminded of his father brought a lot back! You are right though that he is definitely looking for some closure in the bio-dad department haha. (And as for finding someone to love… no luck yet XD)

    1. Hahahaha thank you very much 🙂 I must admit, there is a great deal of patience involved XD Sometimes it takes 4 or 5 tries for just one screenshot! But I love the finished product, so that makes it worth it!

  7. Omg! Poor little Lucas will hopefully not be scarred for life after walking in on that. Definitely something now child – Sim or Human wants to see. But on a better note: Tobi’s tush. Let us pause for this wondrous moment. *pause for tush ogling* Moment over. Back to reality.

    I really hope the banner is a hint of something good coming for the twins. I’m hoping that they get to meet their father and at least get to close that chapter of their lives. But I do have a theory though. I’m hoping that I’m right and I’m wrong at the same time.

    1. Lucas was totally scared for life by that lmao!

      The Thoreau Legacy is probably my favorite sim legacy out there, so I definitely recommend it! 🙂 I won’t say anything about what their dad is actually like. You’ll hopefully find out soon 😉
