Poor Mari. Poor…I suppose everyone involved. 😦 LikeLiked by 1 person Reply Yeah… rough times in the Rosebrook household right now… 😦 LikeLike Reply Gabriela is so cute ❤ I love how she has no idea what she discovered, bless her. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply Yes, she’s so sweet and innocent. I have this image of her walking in there and being like “Um… I found something REALLY weird in the trash…” all innocently. *sigh* LikeLike Reply At least now her parents know what she’s been doing… Maybe they can finally help her! I hope that somebody will help her… 😦 LikeLiked by 1 person Reply GAAAAAAH!!! What is wrong with these people? ! HUG your freakin daughter!!! Team #SlapMari is not appropriate right now! LikeLiked by 2 people Reply LOL!!!! I am sure they hugged her off-camera! I needed to end with the dramatic crying shot. 😛 LikeLiked by 2 people Reply Nah, it would have been more powerful to see them interacting with her in a loving way, finally, but that’s just me. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply LOL Sorry. I feel bad now XD Guess it’s the heartless drama-lover in me. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply Hmmm, I may have to argue that my parents wouldn’t have hugged me initially either (had I been trolloping about town)…It would have been a more “DO you see what your behaviors lead to young lady, thank God you just have to deal with babies and not a disease!” Then maybe days later they would have been like “well the childs an innocent and we truly love you” blah blah blah…so all that to say the emotions are at an all time high, and this family don’t like to share their feelings well anyway lol. It may have been different (go back in time with me for a sec) Diego would have gotten her pregnant all those moons ago I think. The parents would have been more forgiving purely because it would be a less volatile scenario?? I don’t know what do you think? LikeLiked by 2 people Reply That’s a good insight, Lee! LikeLiked by 1 person Reply No, I know you’re right because mine would have done the same thing! LOL, hypocrite much? :-p However, having been a fly on the wall throughout these folk’s lives, I have (we have) the special privilege of being objective. And, from what I’ve observed, I say that sometimes an act of love can be way more powerful than anything else! It’s amazing what love can do. LikeLiked by 4 people Reply Aw, this was super insightful. Love can definitely do amazing things! LikeLiked by 1 person Reply You know what’s cool about being a writer and reading other people’s stories? It’s a nice opportunity to explore objectivity that would have otherwise been ignored because if I were writing this, I would have written something similar! Oooh! This sounds like a topic for the storytelling group! LikeLiked by 1 person Reply That’s a really good point, honestly! When you read, you have such a different perspective than you do as a writer! LikeLiked by 1 person Reply Hahahah yes!! In my house it would have been love and a sandal upside my head LOL!! LikeLiked by 1 person Reply You know how it is, first there’s shouting, then there’s hugging, when the tears come. 😉 LikeLiked by 2 people Reply Yeeeeah, I know. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply This isn’t really the time to say this…but I love Jade’s bugged out eyes in the 2nd last picture. It really sums up how she felt. xD LikeLiked by 2 people Reply LOL! That is a fine comment to make lmao. There are many emotions in the Rosebrook household right now… LikeLiked by 1 person Reply There are so many things I need to comment on…1) how cute and adorable is Gabriela?? 2) YAY a pregnancy PNG!!! so cool 3) loving the lips on Mari coupled with the bugged out eyes of Jade. 4) your wordless chapters are incredible, I mean I truly feel all the emotions, from the “what is that weird shaped pink thing in the trash” to the “we know your pregnant Mari” to the “ITS NONE OF YOUR F******* BUSINESS OK!” lastly to the “SHIT what am I going to do”. You are a brilliant person Ms. Citizen!! LikeLiked by 1 person Reply Yayyyy I’m so pumped you have WP account now ❤ 1) I know, right? I freaking love her. 2) Actually, it was cc I downloaded! ^_^ If I wasn't able to find it, I'd so do your PNG idea though. That's brilliant! 3) Hahaha lots of expressions going on near the end there XD 4) You are so sweet, thank you! 🙂 LikeLiked by 1 person Reply REALLY??!! CC?? Gosh what will the content creaters think of next they are incredible really! Thanks I too am kinda pumped its addicting to have a blog 😉 LikeLiked by 1 person Reply Your wordless interludes are always so great. Sorry to see the distress between Mari and her parents 😦 Love each other pls LikeLiked by 1 person Reply They do love each other, don’t worry! But there are lots of emotions in the Rosebrook household right now… haha LikeLiked by 1 person Reply Oh, this chapter is epic. I love their faces so much! I laughed at how Alex and Jade got Mari cornered. FUN! 😀 LikeLiked by 1 person Reply Hahaha yup, she could not hide! Also, no one has mentioned something yet… Lina is 18 now, and has a boyfriend. Yet they IMMEDIATELY assumed it was Mari… XD So sad. LikeLike Reply Good point! But you made us focus on Mari so much, that we are like: “What? There are other girls in that household?” 😀 LikeLiked by 1 person Reply LOL I cannot deny that. 😛 Poor Lina and Gabriela. Their lives are so normal and boring that they just sorta fade away in the background hehehe. LikeLike Reply I love your wordless chapters. You’re so good at getting screenshots that portray exactly the right thing. It is funny that they go directly to Mari, but, really, it makes logical sense. *Lina* hasn’t been going out every night slutting around. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply Hehehehehe exactly. Lina does have a bf and all, but… they know exactly who it would be LMAO. (And thank you for your compliment 🙂 I love doing the wordless ones!) LikeLiked by 1 person Reply It was bound to be discovered when it was just lying in the trash like that. But poor Mari. She finally broke down. I hope this is the beginning of something beautiful 🙂 LikeLiked by 1 person Reply Yeah, she didn’t exactly hide it very well!!! And I hope this will lead to good things for her too! ❤ Thanks for reading! LikeLike Reply Gabriella you’re amazing you found the test now your parents know this amazing maybe Mari will finally get help! *Takes deep breath because she said all that in one go* Great chapter! I can’t wait to see the nooboo! *Relises she has totally disregarded Mari’s feelings* And I’m sure although Mari is so angry and upset at the moment this will be a positive turning point in Mari’s life? Maybe this will teach her to not sleep left, right and center in order to get away from her troubles because it will only cause more of them? Always the mindless optimist, me. 😀 I love that shot of a confused Gabriella in the bathroom. I can imagine her all, like, ‘What did I do?’ :p LikeLiked by 1 person Reply Hahahaha poor Gabriela! Yes, that poor little thing was just left awkwardly standing there wondering what the heck was going on. 😛 Love your optimism, and I always love your comments 🙂 LikeLiked by 1 person Reply Poor innocent Gabriela. And Mari this will be good for you in the end just you wait LikeLiked by 1 person Reply Somebody hug Mari! Come on now! Hug her NOW! On a side note, I can’t believe Gabriela saw the pregnancy test in the trash can. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply Jess would love this comment. She was #TeamHugMari too! 🙂 LikeLiked by 1 person Reply ….oh goodness. Just. YOU. NEED. HELP. YOU. TWISTED. AUTHOR. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply Thank you so much! LikeLike Reply *hugs everyone* that got so much emotion over in no words. wow. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply Thank you! LikeLiked by 1 person Reply Gabriela you nosy little child X3 LikeLiked by 1 person Reply I said “oh no” at least 20 times while reading this chapter. Mari, why would you ever just throw the pregnancy test in the trash like that. You’re smarter than that! LikeLiked by 1 person Reply So true! I almost think she subconsciously WANTED it to be found, to avoid having to tell her parents outright but still having them find out. This poor girl is all kinds of messed up/damaged (and needs therapy so badly. She is a broken individual) LikeLike Reply Leave a Reply Cancel reply Enter your comment here...
