Know what no one EVER warns you about? How ANNOYING it is to be a big sister!
Especially when it’s TIMES TWO!
I know the last couples times I wrote in here I was all excited about the new baby… And I GUESS she’s still kinda cute… But I hate it when she cries! Or when mãe and dad wanna play with her instead of me!
And I TRY playing with her too, but she’s BORING. All she does is sit there and make all these weird noises!
At least Lina’s a LITTLE fun. But all she ever wants to do is play dolls! It gets SO old. And whenever I try telling her I’m getting bored, she says “But it’s fun!” Seriously? I told you she was a dummkopf.
I think Diego’s the only one who really gets it.
I know, I know. I’m always writing about him. But that’s ‘cause he’s my bestest friend EVER.
He always plays with me. He’s NEVER boring. And guess what? He doesn’t have ANY brothers or sisters. He’s SO lucky!
I guess I really like him a lot. Like… A LOT a lot. I mean, if anyone’s been reading this (YOU’D BETTER NOT BE!!!) you probably kinda figured that out already. But now I’m saying it for real. Official. On paper. Like a contract.
Anyway, ever since mãe had the baby, I’ve been thinking a lot about what will happen to ME when I’M a grown up… Will I have any kids? Will they be super annoying like Gabriela and Lina? Or super awesome like me? And who will be the daddy?
I think I finally decided.
It’s gonna be Diego. Me and him are gonna get married someday.
I mean, it makes sense, doesn’t it? Who else could I be with for the rest of forever without being BORED to death? Or ANNOYED to death? Just him.
I haven’t told him yet or anything. I think you’ve gotta be AT LEAST 12 before you can start talking about that sorta stuff. But I already made up my mind.
I just hope he doesn’t mind being a Rosebrook.
I mean “Mariana Katz”? What kinda name is that?!
At least 12?! LOL, ok.

(Clarification just in case — it was a joke! Haha She doesn’t understand how serious things like marriage and having kids are, because she’s so young and naïve! This is mostly for anyone who happens to read this, not necessarily you, Jes :P)

LOL, duh. That’s why it’s funny!

12!!!!! I agree with Jes2G , that is way to young. Try 14. But this is a great sims legacy, you you know, I’m not fussed.

Hahaha she is kidding! 🙂 She’s barely 10, so she doesn’t have a real sense of what things like marriage or having kids (or even HOW kids are made) are like. It was just a joke 🙂

Haha the bit about being at least 12 at the end also cracked me up. I’m really enjoying the swapping of perspectives, it’s a great way to get a real good scope on the family’s life. I always look forward to your story, even though I haven’t been commenting lots lately – I usually read it on the metro from work so trying to type out a comment can get tedious!

Ha! You know nothing, girls! I was 6 and I was having hard time to decide which one of my two friends I would marry when I grow up. 😀 Great chapter!

So cute how Mari ‘declared her love’ for Diego ❤ Mari and Diego sitting in a tree, K.I.S.S.I.N.G. 😛 Great part, might be my favorite! 😉

Hehe this chapter is one of my favorites so far too! Thanks! 🙂 I like how light and fun it is writing Mari at this age! I won’t spoil anything, I’ll just say that when she’s older, things won’t always be easy for her (it never is, right? Hehe), so I’m enjoying the relatively care-free and happy Mari of her childhood right now haha

Yeah, I’m enjoying it while it lasts too, I don’t want her too grow up 🙂
By the way, you should really write a chapter with her P.O.V when she’s 12! 😛 I hope she says something cute like, “Well, I think 12 is the age when boys are cootie free so..” hehe

Ahhh too bad I didn’t think of that XD I’m ahead in my writing and playing and she’s already a teen (actually… Spoiler alert… This is our last child-Mari chapter 😦 )

What?! No ;-; I’ll miss Mari as a child! Will Mari continue writing a few chapters in her P.O.V and will either Lina or Gabriela write a chapter of their own? 😉

The older Mari gets, the more the focus shifts to her, so we will be hearing more from her, but a little less from Alex 😦 As for Lina and Gabriela… Not really. You’ll see what I mean by that haha. But, in general, this story will just be the heir’s journals. Which is unfortunate for my spares, because you’ll only really get to know them through my heirs’ eyes 😦 Just an unfortunate side effect of the way I chose to structure the story haha

Oh that’s too bad Well at least Mari will stick around! 🙂

Yup, she’s the heir! 🙂 if it helps, Lina and Gabriela are kind of boring, honestly hehe but they will “do” things in the story still 😛

I know this isn’t a spoiler, since I see you are caught up hehe but yes, Mari turns out to be not-so-likeable, but I am a fan of her spunkiness haha 🙂

Mari had the best freaking voice. You wrote so well for her, and I just love her so much XD of course I have the knowledge of knowing what you do in the future because you’re evil. What did I call you? I don’t know if I called you satan. It was something like that. I’ll probably see my old comments lol

Hmm, has Mari gone through the children stages of not wanting any thing to do with boys? She seems a little old for the playing house stage of mommy daddy…. It is usually through puberty when they discover boys and I guess around 12. Is Mari’s nieighborhood lacking in children that Diego is the only one around? Great point of view and development of the story so far. Thank you.

Haha all kids are a little different! I teach 10-14 year olds and I see so many 10 year olds with little crushes. I don’t think they fully grasp their feelings or anything at that age. They definitely are still figuring things out!
